Grab and Go Goodies started out as an idea while Taku was in Hawaii. Taku worked at a health-food and smoothie shop part-time and thought that Tokyo could use a place where people could get healthy and delicious smoothies.
Taku shared his idea with a friend in Hawaii and they both went to eat at a local sandwich cafe to talk about his idea. What emerged from this was the idea to create a cafe where people could enjoy healthy, wholesome, and real food; slow food, not fast food.
Taku returned to Tokyo with his new idea, joined up with his brother Ryo, and good friend Tatsu. Grab and Go Goodies was established in July 2019 in Sumida, Tokyo Japan. They have been serving up delicious meals to happy customers with Aloha ever since.

In August 2021, we opened up our sister store, little Goodies. At little Goodies, we serve the sandwiches you love, the smoothies and açai bowls that you crave, but we also serve craft coffee and baked goods too. You gotta try our basque cheesecake! Remember it’s called little Goodies, but it’s full of big aloha!
In October 2022, we opened our biggest location yet in Higashi-Nihonbashi! Goodies Sandwich Shop has all of our best-selling sandwiches, smoothies, and açai bowls just like our original store, but we also serve breakfast and cafe items like pancakes ,waffles, and cakes! Our new shop has more seating and tables, and we’re dog friendly! We’ll see you there!
